Anti-Plastic Directive
Maintaining a Pristine Zero-Litter Mountain Range
Conventional plastics are highly stable polymers. In the cold, high-UV mountain climate of Kamrunag, decomposition is further retarded. A single plastic water bottle will fragment into dangerous toxic microplastics over 450+ years, poisoning the local food chain.
Every year, volunteers retrieve over 2 tons of single-use bottles and snack wrappers from the forest slopes. This litter clogs small forest tributaries, causing erosion during summer monsoons.
Help us preserve the sanctity of the peak. Before starting, unpack plastics at the Rohanda Base, transition to reusable steel flasks, and carry your own trash pockets. Take the digital eco-pledge to commit!
